Due to a fraud alert on my account, I was struggling to get a bank to get my car loan sorted quickly. The General Bank of Canada was the only bank to work efficiently with the car dealership to get me the loan I needed. Whenever I've emailed the General Bank of Canada requesting information, they have responded quickly. The website is easy to use to check your balance. I was able to make additional bill payments simply through my personal chequing account. The only slight downside is that they're only available to call during working hours, but despite this they'd return calls or emails as soon as they return to the office. Honestly, I was concerned about using a bank I had never heard of, but everything went smoothly over the last 3.5 years. If anything, they gave more personalized care than the larger banks.
Dealing with General Bank has been flawless. In four years I have no problems. Twice I have asked for updates on my account and both times it has been itemized to the cent. Professional and courteous with same day response.Thank You
Always very quick to respond to phonecalls and emails, great acceptance rates, competitive financing rates. Been dealing with them for years and never had a bad experience, they're very accommodating. Great customer service. Really make you feel like they value your business, something that's becoming more and more uncommon. Staff are well trained and helpful.
The best banking experience Ive had over the last 30 years. My email request was replied within 3 minutes with an official letter and a statement including all details I asked for. WELL DONE!
