Tested the new apple homepod. It sounds great specially when playing 2 of them in stereo. Sonos or amazon echo or google home are not even close. However the price is quite steep as well.
This store is conveniently located for me but unfortunately I have had more than one terrible customer service experience here. The most recent was an Apple Store employee who essentially refused to replace the battery on my 2-year old iPhone 7 Plus. While the battery still showed that it was operating at "peak performance" I intend to keep the phone for at least another 1 to 2 years and therefore want to get a new battery while Apple's battery replacement promotion is in place (it expires at the end of 2018, when battery replacements will increase from $35 to $65).The employee I dealt with was dismissive, rude, condescending, and wouldn't listen to me - he kept talking over me when I tried to explain that I wanted a battery replacement and that I felt it was within my right to request it even if the current battery passed their diagnostic test. I really didn't care for the employee's tone so I requested a different employee or a manager. He initially refused and I had to ask a second and third time to speak with a supervisor before one was made available.Rather than assign a new employee to help me with my request, the manager came out and defended the employee saying he must of misunderstood me and was just making sure I knew that the current battery was still working. If you ask me, this seems like a store policy designed to reduce the number of battery replacements Apple needs to make and reduce the number of low-profit repairs they have to worry about. After a short discussion with the manager she went and got the same employee again to handle the rest of my battery replacement. When he returned, the employee was just as condescending as before, and the first words out of his mouth were, "Are we feeling better now?" in a sarcastic tone.Certainly not the kind of customer experience I expect from Apple.
Jordan was amazing customer service. He helped me get a new I phone 10 which I love as my 7 was completely broken. He was able to explain everything to me step by step and give me all of the best options without being pushy. He even stayed past close to help me set everything up. Would recommend!
Very quick, very efficient and pleasant experience! My genius Tyler was pleasant, smart and charming! I must admit I was slightly worried coming here but now as I sit back and watch others, people want a quick fix and always want it to go their way! It is a very busy store people! Thanks again Tyler!
I happened to get in at a time that wasn't ridiculously busy, but I could see they were still pretty busy pulling out stock, as it was the last day of the student sale. They managed well I thought, all things considered, and the service was good quality and efficient once I found someone to help me. I found it was still extremely difficult to find a staff member who was available to speak to me though, and the virtual cue they had set up wasn't obvious. I wouldn't have known how to join said cue right off the bat.
