Security got caught with their pants down tonight. Calgary Edmonton rematch, they had 4 security personnel trying to check bags of 1000 people in line, and that was at just the north west gate. You think they would have known better
I have been here a few times. First time visiting with more security in place around the stadium. Well done to all officers involved. It was well done and access was smooth. Stadium was as good as ever. Concourse was easy to get around and crowds moved easily. View of the rugby game was amazing. Ive watched international rugby in Europe and Commonwealth stadium is as good as any place Ive ever watched a game.
Dated facility. Climbing stairs from first row is like climbing the summit of Mount Everest. Game itself was good, stadium just needs a few million invested to update.
One of the best out door stadiums for CFL football teams. If they had a competitive team they could probably have the most fans at games. They have over 60 thousand seats and we're able to see the field very well from 80 percent of the seats. To get the other star it would have to be equal to B.C. place or BMO field in Toronto. They are both indoor when they need to be.
Love going to Eskimos games here. Great summer ambience. They don't overly gouge you on the food and beer prices.
