My travel agent, Blair Pearson, has been absolutely amazing. The best part about using him, he has been everywhere! Having someone like that in your back pocket for places you have never been before is the best resource you can have when travelling. Plus he has always found me great deals and at specific times that worked for me. I can't say enough good things about my experience so far and I am sure there will be many more trips booked through him in the future. Next stop, New Zealand! Blair, you're up!
So I booked an international flight here. The flights exist and all, but by doing it through flight centre, it rendered air Zealand website unable to allow me to log in and do anything. Apparently the seats are supposed to be assigned when making the booking, but since there wasnt a place for him to enter this, I was left high and dry. Discovered when I was unable to sign in online that I now had a middle seat and they were all already assigned and middle is my worst nightmare for an all night 13+ hour flight. I had to remain on hold all day wth the airline who said I needed to take it up with my travel agent that he didnt book the seat. When I tried, sell there wasnt a spot. So basically even though he couldve called and shouldve known this would be the case, I was left having nothing done. I also called him to try to add a bag and he tells me itll be the same at the airport. This sounds wrong, so I call AGAIN to the airline who told me the travel agent needs to book the extra bag and yes, it costs much more at the airport. I had to beg for them to do it for me since Blair, at flight centre, didnt feel it was his job. I cant even check in early because of the travel agent booking to try to get a better seat, because nothing online works with the reservation and I have to do it at the airport.Im the customer. I shouldnt have to go through tons of hassle to add a bag and not be able to pick a seat just because my travel agent doesnt understand his own job. Im super disappointed in this, my experience didnt need to me my worst nightmare,And because of this not my job not my problem attitude, it is. Book your own flight. Then you can pick a seat, sign in, add bags, DO ANYTHING.
Wonderful place to book vacations. Great staff.
Service was excellent. My travel agent David was great and very helpful in finding and booking all bookings that were within my lower budget. Very reasonable flights and great accommodations at a newly renovated Comfort Inn Hotel, a perfect location. It was within short walking distance of everything too, Perfect! Thankyou Flight Center for your wonderful service and helping make my trip so much more enjoyable. Will definitely be making another booking soon.
The guy there takes way too much time talking. My family and I waited almost an hour (49 mins)- during which my mom actually fell asleep- for our turn even though there were only 2 people before us, one of which was already being assisted before we came in. I guess he saw that my parents were in some sort of mood because he didn't try to tell them if his own travels or some other elaborate story. My advice is if you want to go there, don't go last minute, especially if you have something else planned within a couple hour if being there. Plan to go there about 2-3 hours before anything else you need to do, and bring a book to wait with.
