Pro: I arrived to rent just at closing time on a Sunday and they accommodated my rental. The car was in good condition and the process was smooth .Con: Upon returning the car they tried to claim that there were 2 fresh cracks in the windshield. When we looked at them, they were clearly old cracks that had been filled in. Only after reviewing the car's previous claims did they admit that the cracks were indeed old . Go over every inch of the car and take pictures before you drive off the lot .
They did not have the car ready for pickup as they did not have any drivers to bring it to the location. They offered a smaller car, but we needed a big car. After multiple attempts, they found a driver to bring the original car, but our departure was delayed by 2 hours. I asked for compensation for the delay as we had a long trip ahead of us and they said they will see what they can do and in the end gave us a luxury car; however, I felt that staff were unapologetic during the whole process. I tried to add an additional driver, but they would not allow me to do so without the second person's credit card, which she did not have. Since we were booking through our company, we had to use the company credit card to pay additional charges. When I called to provide the with this information, they deliberately did not pick up the phone, and I had to call from different numbers so they will pick up. I thought they were extremely unprofessional, and I would never rent from them again.
The car and customer service was great! I did prepaid booking online and the actual cost was less but was not refunded the over pay because it said it was a "nonrefundable prepay" I was not aware of this. I also tried to extend my rental but was told I had to return the car before I could extend the rental...ridiculous.
Very friendly employees who worked hard to get me my car quickly. It was a brand new car with less than 1,000 km on it.I found a super cheap deal online and it worked out great but the limited weekend hours made it a bit worrisome because if I were late I'd be charged $50 for an extra day. Also if you don't return the car full of gas there's a charge of $3.80 per litre!! Just be aware of the rules and as long as it works you should be fine but the extra charges can make a good deal much less so.
