I went there this week, after 1 year of daily driving by this place...and postponing. I havent been impressed with any hairdresser and their colouring in the edmonton area, and most of time got my hair cut when in either Vancouver or Montreal.But this is close by to me, and i really wanted a change and gave it a try.Emma did my hair colour and cut, and its AMAZING! I told her i am not the one to go for every 8 week apointments and i wanted my roots to be a close match but still have the lighter blond face framing and tips, but not baylage.She delivered, i couldnt be happier.

Stephanie Walsh has been cutting my hair for over 10 years! What started as a few cuts has turned in to a wonderful friendship. I have followed Steph through a lot of her hairstyling adventures and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for something fresh and exciting. Steph is amazing at keeping up on new trends and color combos and is always taking new training to broaden her horizon. She really is one in a million! Can't wait to come back and see you Steph at Charisma!!
Update: I walked in to return some products that werent working for me and was instantly greeted by this abrasive lady at the front desk. She questioned me and then again talked at me, being quite fake. She tried to get me to buy some Kevin Murphy quite pushy with her sales - totally dislike that - very intimidating - I think she may have been the owner, still no reason to be rude. I prefer down to earth, genuine people. She made me feel like I couldnt afford getting a conditioning treatment.Went in last week during the day for hair treatment. The girl I had did a good job but wasnt down to earth. While I was waiting for the treatment to set in, I noticed that the magazine table could have used a dusting. Went in again another day for product, got the same girl at the counter...I felt she was just talking at me trying to make me get certain brand of product. Still going to give the place a chance coz its close by.
I absolutely love going to Charisma! The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming right from the minute I walk in. I always have a coffee while I'm getting my hair done too! Their stylists are wonderful, always offering advise on products and styles for me. And they're very knowledgeable as well. Stephanie Walsh is a hair wizard! Every crazy/weird idea I have in my head, she brings to life in the exact way I imagined it would be. I have never left here feeling any less than a thousand percent happy. If you don't already go here, you need to change salons now because this place is the bomb.
