HORRIFYING. Limited/terrible security. Old men would come up to me and try to force me to drink their drink. They poured it on my face, trying to drug me. Every time id leave to get security they would disappear. THIS HAPPENED 4 TIMES IN ONE NIGHT. I cant help but think this has worked for them in the past and thats why theres so many there. HOW COULD THIS GO UNNOTICED. People are complaining about id scans? They clearly need more than that. Disgusting
Talented Performers but whats with the door policy forced photography of patrons and scanning their ID!? Feels more like getting booked at a police station than going to a nightclub is this an Alberta thing? In Montral they don't even ask for ID going here feels like a prison state and half the club is outside smoking at the employee entrance but they wouldn't let me leave out that door marked exit I had to walk all the way around the building to leave or enter. Came here for Latrice Royal who was a no show and wasted my time coming here. Thankfully Manila Luzon did show up and did a great job with two local queens. Please Alberta treat your clients like VIPs not like they are getting arrested or going thru airport security.
Cannot stand this bar.Always the same people, snobby gay men everywhere (do these people not have lives? Theyre there every weekend night). The dance floor is horrid and the music is always meh. Suffocating :-/Nothing compared to The Roost or Buddys. Snobs and snobs everywhere. The gay scene used to be really fun in Edmonton. Now its very divided and there are only a certain group of accepted good looking gay men that swarm these venues. Too bad Buddys closed, it was sooooo much better.Literally a gross basement, bad music, and stereotypical gay men everywhere. If thats your thing, go at it.
ABSOLUTELY the most welcoming and positive atmosphere always. The only club I can go to where I feel as good as I do here, and the shows are So Good wow. So wonderful, I always go here.
We end up going here a lot because they have great drag shows! It's not the Roost, but it might just get there someday! The alcohol selection is pretty decent, and there are three bars to choose from. The bartenders are quick and friendly. There is lots of room to dance if that is what you like to do. It's really not my kind of music but it is entirely thumpy and catchy. The dance floor is always full. Great DJ.Evo really supports the LGBTQ community with fundraisers and events all the time. A great night out every time.
