5 stars because live jazz is coming to the L1 lounge. Starting on Thursday 6th September. So there you have it. Great food and an impressive bar and now live jazz. Couldn't be better
Grand piano played live. That was awesome!Server inexperienced with the alcohol. (Wine specifically) but he made up for it in personality and attentiveness.
L1 Lounge isn't super classy but it is reasonably nice. Our steak dinners were 40 bucks each for AAA filet mignon and rib eye. We had a $20 antipasto appetizer that was absolutely delicious. They gave us complimentary warm bread to start and 5 chocolates with the bill. The server was very friendly and talkative and extremely attentive. The food arrived quickly and our drinks were regularly topped up. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and delicious. Veggies were perfect amount of crunchiness. The truffle butter was yummy and very creamy. I polished off my entire plate. The antipasto exceeded my expectations. Perfectly grilled veggies and complimentary flavors. Ambiance was nice and quiet with music playing but not too loudly. It wasn't very busy so we could have quiet conversation. Decor was predominantly red, nothing super fancy or high quality though. Good place for a date but be prepared to spend about $100-$120 on a meal for two.
Girlfriend and i went there to have a couple drinks before we saw a movie tonight. Sat there for 15 minutes and didnt even get Aknowledged. There was only one table with 2 guys, and a couple at the bar. The bartender kept looking over but no one came over to ask us anything. The bartender came and bussed tables nearby us and again... nothing. We went out to the front of the bar to see if they were even open and sure enough they were. Left and went to earls on bourbon and 15min behind us came the couple that was at the bar who clearly left after us as well.
