Went to go get a monthly pass. They told me I cant because my car is registered with an Edmonton address. Makes absolutely no sense? I would have been ok with it as an alumni here...But the front desk lady was incredibly condescending and rude.Im just trying to figure things out as I have gotten a pass every year except this one.Maybe you deal with too many students so you have to be quite strict but thats no way to treat people in customer service?
This is the worst part about UofA. University itself is a great place but the parking service is horrific. I've talked to all three women on separate occasions and they all had terrible service. it seems like they dont want to work there at all,mean attitude, condescending language, and pure laziness to look up anything at all (instead, I saw bunch of facebook tabs opened)Dont bother going there first to get any information, they will just send you away to look at their poorly organized websiteAlso they recently changed that month-to-month is not available anymore, they want you to buy term-by-term or year-to-year passes, if you stop the monthly pass for 1 month, you have to go through this painful process again. just terrible, I was lucky to find a nice stall from kijiji
