I bought a Groupon in April for a mani/pedi, facial and massage for my mum and I for Mothers Day. I called to book an appointment and no one answered. I tried a couple more times and finally got thru to them and they said a time was available in June. I said I would just quickly call my mum to make sure that date worked for her and call them back. When I called them back, no one picked up so I left a message saying that the date we spoke about earlier worked for me and they could call me back if they had any questions. Didnt hear back from them at all.I called about a week later just to confirm the appointment and they said that the time slot wasnt available anymore... so I had to pick a different date which was July 7th (yesterday). At this time, I requested to do a prosecco package lunch as well and they said they would be able to do that.Last Thursday, I called to confirm my appointment time. They said it was at 2:30. I confirmed that the appointment was for 2 people and not just for myself, then the person on the phone said something like Oh... I dont know if we will be fully staffed for 2 people. Of course I was annoyed because thats what I booked! She said she would call me back and I said okay. A couple hours go by and no phone call. I call myself and someone else answers and said that the person I was talking to is busy with a client so she would call me back. I asked if it was going to be before 4:30 so they could call me on my work number and she said yes. 4:30 rolls around, no phone call. I tried calling them and no answer as per usual.After work, I called again around 5:30 and still no answer. My friends thought maybe they were avoiding my number so my sister called from her phone and my other friend called from her phone and no answer. I was so annoyed that I just decided to go walk to the salon by myself since I was downtown anyway.I arrive at the salon and there is only one client there, they didnt look busy at all. One girls greets me at the desk very unenthusiastically and I tell her I tried calling multiple times and no one is answering. She claims that their receptionist called in sick. I said okay I understand that you might be busy but why would you tell me that you would call me back before 4:30? And she said that when there is no receptionist they dont answer the phone until the end of the day. I told her thats really frustrating because how am I supposed to know whats going on with my appointment on Saturday which is 2 days away? Then she tells me that they will be fully staffed for Saturday so I can still go ahead with the appt. I asked about the prosecco package to make sure that was still booked and she said that there wasnt anything in the booking about a prosecco package.... She got the manager and she comes out without a smile and not apologetic at all for messing up the appointment. I ask about the prosecco package and she tells me that the liquor license didnt arrive. Even though I booked the appt well in advance.... anyway she said they could still do the lunch but no prosecco. I ended up no showing to this appointment because of how ridiculous their service was. Normally, I would never no show to an appointment like this but I wanted to inconvenience them for the multiple times they inconvenienced me. They called me 2 minutes after my appointment time, and I didn't answer the call. I saw I had a new voicemail and I checked it and they didn't even leave a message, they just hung up.Overall, I can't believe how unprofessional this "salon" is and how it is still in business. Judging from other reviews, it seems as I'm not the only one with this experience. It seems for each negative review written, the owner ends up blaming the client for their horrible experience. She obviously doesn't know a thing about customer service. Can't wait to read my reply from her!
Good luck booking an appointment! I've never had them answer the phone, and the times that I left a voice message, no one returned my calls.
Customer service is nonexistent. Every time I've called to book my call has gone to voicemail and owner takes 2 to 3 days plus to return phone calls. Recently booked an appointment and misplaced my agenda. Called 2 business days prior to appointment to confirm date and time (left voicemail) and no one returned my call until the day of my appointment stating that I had missed it and the next appointment there would be a 25 dollar fee associated with my visit.
I had an appointment booked about 3 weeks back, had to reschedule because of family issue, they had me rescheduled right away! Best salon Ive been to since I was a little boy! I had been looking for someone who could cut my hair properly and not leave it un even or messy and leah did great! Thank you for the amazing salon service I'll be back very soon. Kardin:)
