Never use the Auto Service . Rip off! My son went there for an auto insurance inspection appt and waited 2 hours. He decided he waited long enough and went back. They started on his car. He watched as a couple of guys walked around the car , were on their cell phones and laughing, and 15 minutes later it was done. He paid $95 and got back the inspection paper with checkmarks and a fail with no mechanic signature or certification number and was told he had to have everything on the Canadian Tire print out done before he would pass. About $1500 worth. Looking at the print out most of it was recommended service and what actually failed was quoted about $300 . Plus he was told to have a wheel alignment done. He was there 3 weeks ago for a wheel alignment. Guy told him it wasn't his problem.

I only shop here when stuff goes on sale 40%+ off. Generally everything goes on sale once in a while. If you shop here every so often or frequently, you should sign up for their Canadian Tire card and start collecting CT money or even their credit card! Get a little something extra when you shop everytime. There is NO MORE self-checkout.
I was there a year ago with a vibration problem with my Ford Ranger that two other different garages could not find, It was a simple fix, and was repaired faster than I thought. I was pleased with the results and service at the time. I am hoping to achieve the same results again today!
They have two people on the till and a line that took 20 minutes to get through. I had co2 containers to exchange and was told unlike the other Canadian Tire I had to go to customer service. Long line again. Been waiting behind two customers for 15 minutes and still waiting. Not impressed. If i have to spend 40 minutes plus to pay for 200.00 worth of stuff it won't be here!! Pick another store that's properly organized!!
