I have nothing but good things to say about Flowers by Merle. During our wedding planning, we visited several other stores looking for a quote. We were looking for greenery with some small flowers inserted throughout for our head table and fire mantle. One flower store did not listen to what we was asking for at all and insisted on more flowers to be inserted which would bump up the cost and they wouldn't give us a quote until we agreed to buy. That is not the purpose of a quote. Another store didn't give us a quote until a month after we visited. We were starting to lose hope until we called up Flowers by Merle and they worked with us to see what would work best at a reasonable price and they gave us a quote the same day we visited. When we talked closer to the wedding they informed us that some of the flowers we originally chose were not looking good this season so they agreed to add in different, even more beautiful flowers at no extra cost. The service was fantastic.
I have always loved this shop. They are being pushed out though by the LET. GOOD NEWS THOUGH...they are relocating about 5 blocks east!
This company was hired to deliver an online arrangement but failed to delivery. The excuse they used that this was the holiday season and the we're busy. Well.... Christmas is next week, my wife's birthday was today.... thanks for nothing. How disappointing. I'll never use them again. Update.... they were delivered to the wrong address, was suppose to be delivered to her work, 5.5 hours late, left on the doorstep to freeze and half the water was in the bag..... terrible.I will not provide that information on this forum. Suffice to say we found the rest of the broken box next to our porch this morning.
We enter to several flower shops today looking into wedding flowers and Linda at Flowers by Merle was the most prepared, friendly, and overall best of everybody we met with. We walked out with a big smile on our faces.
Amazing service and very creative and talented staff! They did the flowers for our wedding and they were impeccable. Delivery and coordination with the venue and our wedding planner was very straightforward. Really appreciated the time spent listening to what was important for us and tailored the designs to us. The end result was simply stunning and I still remember them very clearly, 5 years later!! Thank you!!!
