This was a complete surprise for me- I was invited to dinner by a family member and really knew nothing about this restaurant. I was so happily surprised when I was greeted by staff - all the staff, not just the hostess/server- we even had a visit to our table by the humble yet so very charming Joe, who chatted and ensured our comfort.. folks, this was just the start of our evening... I cannot praise this restaurant enough. Upscale enough that you feel coddled but homey enough that you feel completely comfortable. And the food was incredible. Beyond incredible. Perfect place for family get together or a quiet date... simply wonderful.
Pizza looked like a forest. What a disaster. Worst pizza experience the kids and I have ever had for $8/slice. I make better pizza at home!!!
Went to Parkallen tonight with my son, daughter in law and 19 month old grandson. Service from the hostess to the fantastic server was very impressive. We had falafels to start and a large pizza to share. It was very nice of the owner to come to our table and thank us for coming. We we definitely be coming back. Have to say the best pizza in Edmonton!!
My partner and I had a groupon for this restaurant so we went for dinner. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere with soft lighting and the waiter was very friendly, professional and attended to our needs. There are so many good things on the menu from pizza to Lebanese classics to grilled meats. Extensive wine list to compliment your food as well. I would recommend making reservations as I find this place fills up pretty good and their skip the dish orders are flying out the door. Parking in the are is either at the back of restaurant, or on a side street or if you're lucky right out in front. I like the fact that they have gluten free and vegetarian options of those with dietary restrictions.
This is a place I've been meaning to try for a long time and I'm so glad I finally did! The mezza platter and falafel were delicious! My husband had ribs and he loved the garlic mashed potatoes that came on the side. We'll be back!
