The store is always well-stocked, clean, and organized. Staff are always friendly and eager to help.The bakery is fantastic, the yummy ready-to-go treats are delicious. They also take cake requests and are very accommodating. We got my son's birthday cake from here and everyone loved it.
Sobey's, what happened to you? You used to be the "go to" place for all grocery trips, small & large...quality and value guaranteed! Now, all I see when I shop there is greed. I guess that Safeway purchase REALLY worked out well!! Regular prices for most items have skyrocketed, you make Save-On look like a bargain, which, in itself, is absurd. Value = not this place! When I see the compliments brands priced 20-30% higher than nearby competitors name brand products, I have no recourse but to question: "why the hell am I even shopping here??" I suppose, at this point, I shouldn't.Sobey's, you're dead to me. Smell ya later, forever.
No long line ups to check out. Little more $ than Superstore but shorter checkouts and friendly staff make it worthwhile.
One of the best stores in the city. Second to none with the bakery, bread is fresh and soft, EVERY and any time of the day. For those bakers out there, they have fresh dough ( not frozen ) ready to rise daily,( cut into 2 loaf and place into pans let rise couple hr, bake at 350 for exactly 20 min. 2 loafs for the price of 1, so yummy ) i grab a couple bags daily. Clean and very friendly. I have noticed that they tend to have meat and cheese sales that the other stores don't have on.
Excellent store. Looks like a little red barn. Nicely laid out and superfantastic people and they are really helpful.
