The menu was in French so it was nice to try and remember my high school French. The staff was friendly and the food was top notch!
It is a cute little place in the French district of Edmonton, so the menu is completely written in French, but the staff are quite helpful if you can't read French. The coffees and teas (especially the London fogs) are delicious and they have great light breakfast and brunch items.In the winter there is an outdoor patio with a wood burning fireplace and blankets, great place for a cozy coffee date.

Looking for a place that offers late brunch? I was happy to learn that Cafe Bicyclette's brunch menu is available until 5 pm! My boyfriend and I ordered the Brunch Poutine and Smoked Salmon Crepe today. The Brunch Poutine consisted of a mountain of crispy fries, gravy, cheese curds, smoked meat and mushrooms, topped with a poached egg. It was massive and I would recommend sharing it between 2 people. The Smoked Salmon crepe was equally satisfying - brie, greens, spinach and pine nut pesto, and of course, smoked salmon, sandwiched in a crepe! This dish also came with a mini watermelon salad (incredibly refreshing by the way) and your choice of a side. I chose the vegetable and rice soup, which I would definitely order again. It was a light soup packed full of flavour. If you want quality food, good portion sizes and decent prices, look no further than Cafe Bicyclette :)
