If I could give no stars I would. I was tail ended, my car was totaled and I received a concussion and back injury. I have repeatedly tried to reach Darcy the head of the west end branch but she has not returned my calls for over a week this time , the same for Samantha in the claims department. The adjuster they sent out didn't appear very knowledgeable and she as well is very slow to return calls . They have offered me half the value of my car, refusing to compensate me for over six thousand dollars in repairs in the last 12,000 kilometers, the motor was rebuilt on top of the other repairs. I can't believe a company as large as State Farm has been able to survive treating their clientele in such a shoddy and disrespectful manner. I have dealt with State Farm for over twenty five years without a major claim ( 2 windshields ) and now that I have a claim that I was not responsible for they treat me like I am guilty . I have been trying to get my own appraiser to look at my car and I can't even find out where the car is .
Absolutely THE WORST insurance company on Earth. Unprofessional AND highly immature staff, unreliable, terrible communication, disorganised and so on. You will never talk to the same agent twice as they hire wannabe bar stars that last a couple weeks before they are fired. Worst customer service I've ever had. I fired these losers and found a real insurance company that is ETHICAL, honest and CARES about their customers and keeping their business. Do not choose Allstate - YOU WILL REGRET IT.

As a "decade plus" customer, this is the best insurance company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Nobody wants insurance, and nobody is looking forward to the day that you need to call your insurance adjuster to make a claim. The prices are reasonable. The service is professional. And most importantly...... They had my back in a situation where most insurance brokers would cut and run. 100% approved and recommended by Kawasaki Brad.
Been with Allstate for over 30 years, rate increases every year but more than most, 5 yrs. ago cancelled our 2800.00 yearly car ins. and got it for 1850.00 Today canceled house insurance as Allstate was 840.00 and auto ins. from Aon-Aviva which is now 2200.00 and transferred both to Economical for 2225.00 for both. Don't be complacent with Allstate or any other insurance company and shop around.
