Spacious, comfortable, renovated (historical building), equiped with recent library tech systems and significant number of electronic devices for students and patrons to use (in addition to tablets, cameras, and more, for loan). The building is mainly surrounded by a campus' green area so that the hundreds of its exterior windows are facing a nice park landscape. Access is excellent since the University bus Station and Light Rail Train are about 50 meters walking distance from it - through a nice campus' green space sidewalk.
I love this place so much. First floor is a little more noisy compared to the higher floors, but its still pretty quiet. The reserve section is great, and you can usually find your textbook there. The shelved collection is awesome too, with soo many books. Great place to study alone, and there are some group rooms there, but they only hold about 2 people each. The staff are always super helpful too.
If you need a place to read on a Sunday on campus you come here.
Great study location! 5th floor has a ton of tables and single study pods for quiet studying, the main floor is the best for group projects however. Also has a TON of books which is awesome for anyone who loves research.
Awesome library, huge selection of books. Someone else said to study on the main floor, but Rutherford North has great little study kiosks on every floor, the ones against the walls having plug-ins. It's usually fairly quiet, but get in early if you want a good study kiosk during exam/paper writing time.
