First time eating here, will come back again. Head chef made excellent recommendations on appetizers, and drinks that pair best with our main dish. We had the beef vindaloo, recommended, the balance of heat and flavour was perfect. Keep it up
Steak was perfectly cooked, coconut shrimp was very good, albeit not very coconut-y. Our server suggested a nice bottle of wine. Was very good!
Some of the best Indian food I have had. Friendly service and clean as well. Every time we visit Edmonton we eat here. I highly recommend this place especially for a nice date night.
Love Select. Perfect lunch time place, with great atmosphere. They make THE best mushroom soup I have ever had. And I've had a lot of mushroom soup. I always order the Fish Amritsari, which is phenomenal. Incredibly flavourful with the perfect level of spice. Service is wonderful. They accommodated all requests my friend and I had. An example is that the tomato, red pepper soup wasn't a cream soup so they offered to make it a cream soup. And it was delicious.
On my work trip to Edmonton, I visited Select Restaurant for dinner in Sep 2018. No doubt, The food is authentically Indian (which is very hard to find these days). I tried Paneer Tikka (crisp, fresh, spicy), Dal Makhani( creamy, perfectly made with all the spices). I am sure you will find the ambience refreshing with great interiors and soothing music.
