I've been taking my animals here for quite some time now. Last year I brought my dog (Ginger) in for her shots, and they were very patient with her (knowing she's a rescue and we only had for a year at that point, she's good but still nervous around certain people). Ginger didn't even seem to notice the shots and everyone walked away happy.Recently though, my poor Tater Tot had a blockage in a very uncomfortable place. I called this place as soon as they opened and got me and my kitty in right away. They took extremely good care of him, so much so that he hugged a few of them They let me come visit him every night until he got better and called me everyday with updates. I will only come here with my animals.
This Vet clinic has always been amazing with our animals. They helped us trying to give the best of care to our kitty cat! We do not have much money and they did their best to help with our budget. I love this place and will continue to bring all of my animals here!
PART 1I have been taking my dog to this clinic for about 5 years. The reason I took him here was because he had gotten very sick during the summer, began vomiting. When I took him to my original vet, they said that was normal because of the heat. When he vomited 5 times, in one night, I took him to Animal South, and luckily he vomited once more in the room and the vet was able to determine that he had ulcers. After treating this problem, my dog began vomiting again after every meal. Because this vet clinic originally dealt with his first issue very well, I took him back to here. The vet (Dr. Ignacio Tan) was unsure how to run diagnostics for his issue, and recommended we put him on a bunch of meds to see if we could treat the problem. Countless meds, countless prescription refills, countless vet-revisits, and thousands upon thousands of dollars (+$8000), even x-rays, bloodwork, stool samples, urine analysis, we were able to determine that all my dog needed was famotidine... for anyone like myself, and has no knowledge of medication, this is Pepcid; which can be found in any drug store or Walmart, or supermarket. He continued to prescribe my dog famotidine, because we were able to wean him off some of the other meds and see if they worsened the problem or not. During this time, my dog needed to come back often for prescription refills. Dr. Tan would be unavailable, so I would see a different doctor. However, Dr. Ignacio Tan did not collaborate with the other vets who had seen my dog, so that is why I continued to pay thousands of dollars for almost zero clinical results and more prescription refills; yet, he approved the med refills, and after many months, still had not contacted me to ask about my dog. I just assumed, that because he was refilling the meds, that he was in-the-know with the other vets. He continued to be on vet-prescribed famotidine, and even placed my dog on a Hypoallergenic food, because it had little ingredients which would be easy on his digestive tract. Because my dog was massive, it made sense for me to buy the 11.3kg bag which was ordered through the vet clinic and cost me just over $100, and would increase in price, as manufacturers do. Again, more and more money, and finally I had a nurse friend tell me that instead of paying $80 for a 7-day refill, I should just buy Pepcid because it was the same thing... Low and behold, drug store Pepcid, worked amazingly. It only cost me $25 for a month's worth. After confronting Dr. Ignacio Tan, he cowardly said, "yes, famotidine is the same as Pepcid, and I am sorry that your dog got lost within the system and we did not track his health very well when he was seeing another doctor. He offered nothing but an apology for his lack of care for my dogs health. All my dog needed was 2 Pepcids per day, and would not vomit his meals. My dog stayed on Pepcid up until this year when we noticed a decrease in his appetite, and a major drop in his weight. I took him to this vet clinic, and it was recommended that he be put on Vitamin B-12 injections, because Dr. Ignacio Tan thought that he may not be absorbing the calories from his food. I brought my dog in once per week to collect his injection, while still being on Pepcid, still being on the Hypoallergenic food diet, and now being prescribed an appetite-stimulant. We noticed some results, he had his appetite back, he was gaining weight again. And I thought the problem had been remedied because I was offered no other reason to think that there was a problem, until this summer.

Everyone genuinely cares about the experience we are having and I couldn't feel more content every time we walk out the door. We never have to wait long at all for Arya's care, and the information I receive back is always extremely helpful and delivered compassionately. Thank you so much for yet another wonderful experience. Arya and I are always excited to come back, which I don't think a lot of people say when going to see the doc!
My pupper has gone here for all her vet visits. They were so sweet to her during shots. She just got spayed and has healed very well. The staff clearly love animals. Hopefully theyll be her vets for many years to come.
