If you are looking for a great bike and a good value go here. Don't even bother going any where else. Calvin knows his stuff and you will be satisfied.
Amazing staff. They are very helpful and knowledgeable and answer any questions. Just got my 19 Fathom and they were awesome explaining everything to me. Best bike shop in the city
I have a 2016 reign 1 that had a very sticky rear shock after sitting for the winter. Brought the shock in for warranty(rock shox have a 2 year warranty)after being told it may just need an oil change. I pulled the sleeve off the shock before bringing it in to change the oil (50hr service interval) but found the IFP had an issue. The sleeve seals were fine and it was sicking without the sleeve on. I brought it in with the sleeve off to show the shop mechanic it was an internal issue. He agreed and before we put in back in the lint free "shop towels" i had it wrapped in i asked if we should spin the sleeve back on and was told it would be fine as is. I Signed the paper work with a zero balance to send the shock out. The shock took over 6 weeks to come back and to my surprise I was handed a 150$ bill. When I asked what it was for I never really got a good answer except that it was to repair the shock. When I asked what was repaired and why it wasn't warrantied I was told it was because the shock came in apart. When I called lambert where it was sent for repair all that was done was a full seal kit and oil change. Likely a blown ifp seal or trapped air. When I asked why there was no warranty lambert said services aren't covered. Bottom line I bought a almost 6000$ bike and was told I can't work on it. Basically if the bb need gease or a hub needs servicing don't touch it or this shop will deny warranty. I'm an industrial mechanic by trade and work on large high pressure hydraulic systems. If I knew or had an idea that the rebuild would not be covered I would have ordered the parts and rebuilt it myself. Just beware when bringing warranty items in. The owner is very offensive to deal with and any negative reviews he bashes right away so watch for that after I post this. Staff is really good just not too in touch with items send out.
Words can not describe how amazing this store is. Purchased a bike from Western 30 days ago, that bike got stolen. Decided to try out the giant store as Western no longer had stock of the model I had. I was in and out at giant with a new bike in 20 mins. Calvin was amazing help, and the service area that tuned the bike and gave me a lesson on the brakes, wheels removal and gearing. 2 years of servicing with every bike purchase is above and beyond other stores. Plus the bike was listed cheaper then Western. My husband will be purchasing his next bike from this store. You have made a customer for life, thank you
I went two places to fix the steering of my bike. The first place that I went, said that I better visit this store and check it out if they can do it. WOW I could not believe how good they were. The owner just took my bike to the back maintenance section where I could see what he is doing and started to work on my bike. Extra ordinary person. Very friendly, professional in his job, and a great help. It took approximately 30 minutes to one hour, and job was done with the best result. He is the owner who worked on my bike and a great personality. Lots of sense of humor. God Bless. I recommend everyone to visit this shop for great service, huge selection of bikes, and good prices. Thanks guys.
