Awesome idea and cafe. $15 to get in and as many drink as you want within that hour. Great for meeting up with a friend to chat or entertaining kids for a couple of hours. The couches are comfy and clean. Their drinks and snacks are a good size as well. No vegan or gluten free food options but their swag opions makes up for it currently. I would love to see both the snacks and swag staying fresh and unique. It's a smart way to have people come into the cafe to shop all things cat.
I have been to other cat cafes in Canada (Toronto, Guelph, Markham), and this one is the best I've been to. It is the cleanest, by far. The staff are always friendly, they make delicious drinks, and make sure everyone has a relaxing time. My favorite drink to get here is their iced chai with almond milk. I love having an hour of unlimited refills with my admission, which no other cat cafe does. The cats are very well taken care of and have access to privacy if they need. The cats here have always been incredibly charming and adorable. I absolutely love this place and always make an effort to visit at least once when I'm in Edmonton.
This is the best little place to have an Ameowicano and snuggle some kitties. The cats were so well adapted and they even did amazing with 7 kids visiting! These adoptable kitties deserve a home and you can keep them company till they get one!
I recently visited the cat cafe and had the best time! It was clean, the staff was very helpful and nice, the drinks were great (awesome iced chai!) and even the socks that I had to buy were super cute! It was great to read more about each cat and see that most of them had only been there for a couple of months - it seems like they find their forever homes quite quickly. The Cat Cafe also has a punch card system that rewards you for return visits! I can't wait to come back!
Very good 1 hour is enough time to spend with the cats and get free drinks, there are no lockers or hocks for belongings so be sure your bags and/or jackets can't be scratched by cats and, don't forget SOCKS . I would recommend bringing a couple friends to go with you. Going alone can be kind of boring. The cats for very sleepy when we came but the setup is very cute they have their profiles up on a board and they can literally climb everything in the room.
