The Chateau Lacombe is a 1960s era hotel with a unique circular architectural design. Although the hotel has been updated, it still has a 1960s upscale vibe to it. The cheaper rooms are quite small and oddly, as they are situated like spokes from a wheel from the center of the tower. It feels like a 2 or 2.5 star hotel. Service was fine and everything was clean. No swimming pool, unfortunately.
I was looking for a decent hotel like this for quite a while. Tired of those chain hotels where they feed you unknown biomass for breakfast. Here it is real. I like the place. Location is great, the views are amazing! Breakfast is nice.One thing that I don't get - why they keep the air conditioning at such low temp - feels like 17 degrees C! I have to wear a jacket or a sweater when in the common areas. Why is that? Too damn cold.

Beautiful inexpensive rooms with awesome views. Easy to park at and it's a short walk away from Rogers arena. Definitely recommend.
I stayed in one of the older rooms but there was nothing to be sad about. Great view. 13th level. Perfect sheets. And the breakfast in the morning, while very pricey, was very good.
