Great price, also got 2 breakfast buffets with that. Couldn't check pool, pressed for time. Pub was nice, shaped a little weird and pricey for food. Drinks prices were alright. Also we were upgraded to a king bed which was nice.
Super awesome place, staff is friendly and helpful ( i had an issue with the upfront payment of my room, and they helped me solve it and had the patience to walk me through the process, when they just could've not - but they didn't refuse me, they were super sweet). Room service kept the room A++ tidy, and refilled coffee and tea packs. just GREAT!
The service was great and the buffet breakfast was a good experience at the hotel. I enjoyed that it was a buffet where you got seated it made the morning a bit more relaxing. The rooms were well maintained with the ex6of the drain plugs being stuck closed. We had to remove the tops of them so it was able to be drained. The shower heads could use an update or a good clean at the least. The stay itself was quiet except for one day when another guest had left their dogs in their room and they barked continually for a couple of hours. Overall though the stay was one of the better ones. The fitness center was above average! And the pool was a decent size as well.
I've been here for brunch/dinner a few times and I'm always happy with the quality and variety of food. I attended a wedding this time - the staff were helpful and the room was set up as requested. We had our own bathrooms too. My one complaint would be that we didn't get the same service for coffee in the separate room we were in.
I booked this place last second for the weekend because I needed a good deal, and goodness gracious I was MORE than satisfied with what I got out of my experience at this hotel. The check in was smooth and quick as the hotel was not very busy. The room was exactly what I asked for and the balcony on the outside (I had the choice of inside our out) which was great to hang out on as it was covered so no rain got on me! The service was great, I Needed to cut a cake but carelessly forgot plates, forks and the knife to cut it with, and the in-dining service got me all the materials within minutes and were extremely friendly. Everything was very clean and I would honestly stay here again if I ever need a hotel in Edmonton.
