Great place to spend the night in Edmonton. The rooms are big clean and renovated. The shower is amazing, it has glass doors. You can have a fridge in the room. The place has a restaurant and if you have breakfast included it is a buffet with plenty of choices:bacon, sausages, eggs, muffins, smoothies, and many other items. The hotel also has conference rooms and a theatre. It also has an indoor pool and fitness room. I had a window with a superb view of the Edmonton downtown. The West Edmonton mall is at 10 minutes drive from the hotel. Excellent choice and great service. You can leave your bags in the morning if you have to check out and go to your conference.
Pretty solid hotel. Clean, staff are friendly and rooms are a good size. They also give you a warm chocolate chip cookie when you check in, and those are delicious. I ate dinner at the restaurant, and it was surprisingly solid. Big menu, and the pizzas in particular were good. I've also had the buffet breakfast, which isn't bad. Last time they also allowed me to get the breakfast takeout which is great when you've got to get going. Overall, this is definitely the place I'll stay for work when I visit the city, has everything I need.
Very nice lunch buffet. Chicken, fish, or veggie dumplings for entree. Alberta: Where's the Beef?Mashed potatoes or rice along with a decent selection of salad, cold cuts and desert. I liked the Egyptian-Style Bread Pudding! Will definitely be back
Great hotel with outstanding customer service. Upgraded from the bar to the rooms. Used to be a local place called the Mayfield, but after a few years of makeover, this place is up to date and very good for the business traveler looking for a spot in the West end. Staff is great. Very friendly and attentive. Stayed here several times now and is my "go to" when in Edmonton.
I recently attended an event at the DoubleTree by Hilton and had an absolutely wonderful experience with the hotel, the rooms provided, and the staff. Every hotel representative encountered was very professional, friendly, and represented the DoubleTree very well. The meeting rooms utilized were very well kept, clean, and were extremely well suited. Overall the experience was great!
