I wish there was a zero star option. Extremely disappointed with this company. We moved from Ontario to Alberta about a month ago. First there was confusion with the final location of our belongings. We had been quoted from Kingston to Calgary however we had been informed that our things would need to be stored in Edmonton until we had for new place. This was fine by us. When it came to scheduling the final delivery, we were told that our belongings were being delivered within Edmonton, it took a bit of back and fourth to figure it out. That wasn't the worst of it.Granted, our move out of our home in Kingston went great! The guys were extremely professional and careful, so we were very hopeful for a smooth move. When it came to receiving our things in Calgary, things were far from great. I had made my own very detailed inventory list with box #s and corresponding items. There were two boxes that came that were not labelled like the others. To my surprise when they were opened, not only were things inside broken but they were MOLDY! (There were no liquids packed in any of our boxes), as if the original box had been thrown in the water and there repacked. My wedding souvenirs gone. Art work from the 1960s ruined. These are all items that cannot be replaced. The other box contained fabric baskets which were green with mold as well. Things were packed extremely well, so the issue is not the way it was packed but the way it was handled. Several items were also broken and boxes looked as if they had been through the ringer. The movers on moving day in Calgary, were not careful with our things, they walked through our new place with their dirty shoes still on. They scratched the inside walls of our condo complex when they knew/were told that one of the items could not be brought upstairs. (box spring - which we had no problem moving up later on our own). EXTREMELY disappointed with this company!! We have reached out, with pictures to show them and can see that they have been looked at however we are yet to be responded to. Terrible business. Terrible Customer Satisfaction.WE HAVENT YET HAD THIS RECTIFIED!
From the first moment I called Burly Boyz, I spoke to Milan and he did exactly what he said he would. I had contacted several other moving companies before I moved for quotes and not only was Burly Boyz the lowest price quoted but the most professional and the only company that followed up with me after providing their quote. They were also the first to come out to view and inspect the items being moved and thoroughly explained in detail what was involved and what exactly they would be doing for me, something I greatly appreciate knowing what I too am expected to prepare for them on move day. When moving day came I had the pleasure to meet Steve and Kelvin. They both greeted me early Saturday morning with big smiles and handshakes. They walked through my premises and were pleased with how I was able to arrange the furniture and boxes so it made it easier and faster for them to move the items. My move was not large however, it came with some very heavy pieces and lot's of stairs so to my amazement, they handle the move very efficiently and again with great care. Not to mention, because they were so efficient the move was completed under the estimated time saving me money. This was a very pleasant experience and I would have absolutely no problem recommending Burly Boyz moving to anyone in need of a company. I will definitely be contacting them for my personal home move in future. Thank-you Steve and Kelvin for all your hard work and professionalism, you made my office move so much easier and stress-free. Keep up the Good Work!
It was a perfect experience with Burly Boyz. Moving from Calgary to South Surrey BC. Everything was perfect. Just one side table leg was broken but that was not a big deal at all. The exact weight came under the estimated which was also great. Highly recommended moving company.

I wouldn't even dream of recommending this company to anyone moving. Don't make the same mistake I did. We moved from Alberta to Ontario. I checked reviews, BBB rating and it all looked good. They even had the better rate. But please, PLEASE if you're also researching, just move on. They are extremely disorganized, severe lack of communication and didn't even own up to the mistake of how our boxes went missing or how our couch was damaged. We even bought the extra insurance they offered. I don't want to leave a super long post (because it's 3 months worth) but all in all, my husband and I just decided to settle with the poor offer for the couch because the stress and time dealing with it became too much. Even though we have emails that can prove their incompetency, we decided to take the loss and just move on. We even got to the point of going to the Better Business Bureau where if it wasn't for US informing them, they would of loss their business accreditation because of their lack of communication with the BBB. They are sleazy and just plain crooks. Please don't go through the hassle of using them. Move on to a more accredited company so that if something does go wrong, there is a proper procedure with proper insurance that doesn't leave room for "interpretation".
