Had a great experience with them and would highly recommend them! Affordable, professional and efficient. Paul came over twice before the move to do an estimate which ended up being almost exactly what the final cost came to. The team that arrived was on time, professional, courteous and extremely hard working and efficient. They were careful about my fragile items and mindful of things like moving the food from the fridge and freezer last. Even though the place I was moving into was a difficult one (four stories and tight staircases) they finished everything in the estimated time. In the past I've had moving companies charge me almost double of what the estimated cost was so dealing with a company like Western Moving was a dream.
I have been dealing with Western Moving and Storage for 6 years now for both moving and for storage needs. Ted and Sean are extremely professional and courteous and will always look after you. I just used them again today to have my old mattresses removed and taken to the land fill, and their movers they sent didn't disappoint! They were polite and very professional. I have used Western Moving for business purposes as well for storing kiosks and furniture, and when I needed them for set up, they had a project manager assigned to me and ensure that my business needs were met. And they were! I have been promoting Western Moving for the past six years, and will continue to in the future. Exceptional job!

On December 27 2017 I called and received an hourly quote for a residential move within Edmonton. When I called back on Jan 2 2018 (less than one week later), I was given a significantly different quote. When I asked why the quote was different, I was told that I must be confused about where I got the quote from. There's nothing confusing about receiving one quote from one moving company. I didn't speak to any other company or receive any other quotes. Thanks for giving me a false quote and wasting my time. I went with a different company.
Outstanding service from our first meeting with Paul (the estimator) in Edmonton to our last meeting with Paul (the driver) in Ottawa. They worked very hard to ensure all was packed properly and unloaded in the same condition.
