Was given a hourly quote for my move. Was happy with it as we only had a load in the basement of the house stacked already. When they got there he changed and upped the hourly rate saying there was heavy stuff not included in normal moving... gouged me for over $2000! Then kept my property at their storage facility until I paid them another $800 to deliver to my rental home. Water damage and mold on my table and boxes after a short storage time. HORRIBLE MOVERS AND STORAGE!! DO NOT USE THEM! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND HOLD YOUR POSSESSIONS HOSTAGE!
These guys are awesome!! They were efficient and made moving a very pleasant experience. They even helped me pack up my loose and breakable items so they wouldn't get damaged. I recommend them 1 000 000%!
I move many times in my life,after i hire Shalom Movers,I will never use any other company. Very honest,friendly,professional company.They came on time with clean,new Truck and pack all my furniture with moving blankets and fragile items pack in the boxes and they take there storage. in 18 months they deliver back to my new house.Every thing was in perfect condition,no damage ,nothing is lost...Very happy with movers and with Shalom Movers from start to finish... Quoted me 145 per hour on Tuesday but I went with a better quote. On move day booked movers truck was too small. Called Alex as he seemed decent on phone. He said he could still do move. Showed up 4 hours later which is fair enough but when he got their said his original quote did not stand. He would charge me 195.00 per hour. Taking advantage of a bad situation. Told him I would find other movers then. Wasted 4 hours of a bad day only to tell me he wants to gouge me. Very unethical man. He dropped price then to 170 per hour. Desperate to have nasty day over I agreed. Alex spent most of his time in the truck "organizing" while myself and other worker did the work. Thank god as who knows how long the job would have taken. Lots of movers offering comparable hourly rates. Look elsewhere
