I called around 10 am today asking for a water valve that was leaking, the lady on the phone said a technician would arrive between 12-2 pm. Around 1:30 pm she calls me saying there had been a minor complication and the technician would be late. At 315 pm I called to ask the status of my appointment to which the lady replied "there has been a minor complication, it shouldn't take long though". I called again at 500 pm after not hearing anything from them still and asked if the technician was still coming today. The reply was "Yes, he is definitely coming today". 6 pm I called again and no new update on my appointment. However I found out that apparently there had been no communication between the call center and the technician because "our policy doesn't allow to call the technician". Why did they tell me then that he was coming today? at 9:30 pm I got a call saying that the technician was still working on another place and would not be able to come at all. Of course I reminded her the question I asked earlier in the afternoon (Is he coming today at all?) and she replied "We can't guarantee our appointments". So I asked her if this is how they typically treat their customers and she replied "yes, this is normal". I asked again "So this happens every other day then? Customers waiting all day for nothing?" "Yes, this is how this business is, it happens every day". As I told the lady on the phone, I do not blame the technician but the company for lying and disrespecting customers on a daily basis apparently. Had they told me he would be available starting at 6 pm I would have known what to expect and take a different option instead of wasting a whole day waiting for nothing. Notice how there is no penalization for time on the consumers' end but I can imagine how technicians would charge extra if someone would make them wait. Something to think about when dealing with people.
This is my third time called this company. They were so professional and friendly. Jie did a good job. This will be my plumber from now on. Highly recommended!
They told me they would be out the next day between 2-4. Waited.....and waited...they called and said they would be late but we were still on their list. Waited ...and waited. They called again ...still on their list. Finally after waiting ALL DAY...they called at 8 pm and said they would be there first thing tomorrow between 8-10 am. Waited again, called again that they would be late. Called another plumber who came out at 3 pm and fixed my problem while I was still waiting for these guys. I called and cancelled after another plumber had some respect for my time!
We don't have hot water two days already, so we called the guys from Need a Plumber. He came out quickly, checked it out, and explained everything for me. He replaced a new water heater for us. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended!
THESE PEOPLE ARE FRAUDSTERS!!!! They literally tried to rip me off by $500. They told me I had to replace my toilet and it was gonna cost $500. This was to remove a rag that clogged my toilet. Needless to say. The rag was just sitting under the toilet. He said there was absolutely no way the rag was gonna come off and I would need to replace the entire toilet. I was shocked when my friend actually pulled the rag out of the toilet. It was hanging just at the bottom of the toilet.
