I've driven by this place so many times without ever noticing it. Took me awhile to try it the first time. It's a bit sketchy looking on the outside and could really use an update... Or just a bigger place! But it's definitely a hidden gem! Went today for just the second time. Gotta come more frequently! It's a bit on the pricey side but the portion sizes are deceivingly big. Really delicious food! Honestly probably the most authentic Thai food I've had in Edmonton. The waitresses are always super friendly, patient, and helpful! Highly recommend!

Best food of its kind in South Edmonton. Not much parking, but you might get lucky behind the restaurant in the alley. The soups are incredible, and the main dishes will make you want to come back. The outside of the restaurant looks worn-down and sketchy, but the inside is fresh and nicely renovated. Don't be scared of the outside, give it a try! Give an extra 10 minutes on top of their quoted time for take out orders and you won't have to wait.
The location looks a little sketchy at first, but once you walk in, youre greeted with authentic and beautiful decor and delicious smells. The dining area is really intimate and the food is always amazing. Cannot recommend this place enough. If you love Thai food, Syphay is a must!
