My son and I went to VC a few days ago. I chose this restaurant because I was told by a friend of mine that I would have liked the atmosphere and the food. In general, being Italian, I avoid going to Italian restaurants when abroad. But we LOVED it! When you enter, you can feel the warmth of my Country. The arrangement of the tables, the decorations, the atmosphere, all remind you of a traditional Italian restaurant. The food is great, and the portions big. The service is impeccable, and the owner often would come by to ask us if we needed anything else. We felt pampered! I will certainly return to this restaurant next time I will be in Edmonton!
My wife and two children and I visited your restaurant a year ago. We very much enjoyed your food. My flank steak was so delicious. I have never had a flank steak before coming to your establishment and was pleasantly surprised. We loved the experience! We were seated under the giant ceiling painting which was the perfect touch! We will return again for a date night after our baby is born. :) thank you for a wonderful experience!
The only thing I would change is maybe adding one or two vegan options or having a fake cheese for the pizza (I'm lactose intolerant). But the in-house magician was great and gifted my brother a balloon lion. He had our table laughing in no time. This would have been 09/22/2018. The charity bread is a great idea and delicious. The waitress was darling and the atmosphere was brilliant. I will be visiting again when I'm in Edmonton.
Great food and even better service. Went there for my dads birthday and our waiter was just wonderful in helping me with the cake I brought and keeping it a surprise. He placed and lit the candles before bringing it out which was so nice. Will definitely be back.
We went for dinner last night and everything was good. My pescatore pasta with cream sauce was excellent. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it did take quite a while for us to get our drinks. It was a very busy Saturday night and our waitress seemed busy but we would have enjoyed another round if they had come a little quicker and we were offered a refill. Still only a minor quibble though! Overall very good place you should try out!
