We used action moving and storage recently after some bad experiences with other moving companies. This company was amazing to deal with from getting the estimate to having the move done. The crew who did the move were professional and very good at what they did. Without a doubt will be calling them again the next time we move.
One star is too many...didn't personally use this company however had an encounter with their employee on Monday. I was moving my mother into an assisted living facility when my movers arrived to unload Action Movers was in the loading dock. Apparently they showed up at a different time than booked therefore preventing us from moving in. My movers had to sit and wait for over an hour. When we approached the truck to inquire there was no one around it. We waited another 10 minutes when the driver came out, I asked him if they were done could they please move their truck as my movers have been patiently waiting. The Hispanic driver got very ignorant with me, yelling at me accusing me of telling me how to do his job. Sorry but all I asked was if he could move the truck away from the loading dock. He said that maybe I should go back to the kitchen where all women belong and leave the hard work to the men. Knowing the longer I argued with this person the longer he would be. Eventually he moved, none to fast. I regularly have clients ask me for moving company referrals and for this one experience with this company I would definitely know who to AVOID
Just moved this past week, wet snow and all! Chris and his crew did a great job moving us into our new home. Fast, efficient and respectful with our contents. Thanks Guys, would definitely use your services again :)
Thank you to Action Moving for making our move this winter a breeze. From the staff who provided the quotation to the movers everything was handled in a professional timely manner. On moving day the crew was efficient, and took care of everything. Nothing was damaged and even though our move was quite large the crew was positive and helpful throughout the whole experience. Will be recommending Action to friends and family moving in the future as a result of the great service my family and I received.
Booked Action Moving for my Dad's move and while there was an unexpected delay on moving day, Action Moving kept me informed the full time and had a new crew out to us earlier than they estimated. Thank you Stephen and Ben for such an efficient speedy move, and being respectful to my vision impaired elderly father. The condo residents who saw these guys working even commented on how good of job they were doing and how quickly they worked!
