Padmanadi is a restaurant that I will always recommend for my friends, coworkers, and family to try. Their food is consistently delicious. Their service is always top class. Their ambience is always warm and welcoming. I am a meat eater, but I always find myself coming back to Padmanadi to have their curry "chicken". One of the best restaurants in Edmonton. I highly recommend it to everyone.
I absolutely loved Padmanadi! The food was hot, delicious, and beautifully plated. The buffets are always well done but my preference was ordering separate dishes so that I could concentrate on my favourites (ginger beef, won tons, spring rolls, etc). The atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxing and I love the large Buddha along the back wall! Everything is clean and the service is wonderful!Unfortunately I now have to eat gluten and nut free so it's no longer an option for me. I will miss it, but I recommend it highly to others!
Have been coming here for years. All star food and service. Every dish is amazing. Anyone I've ever introduced to this place has never been disappointed. Even my Vietnamese mom liked it. If you have a Vietnamese mom, you know how hard it is to please her because "she can make everything 10x better in her kitchen for a fraction of the cost." I took her here twice in a weekend! Unreal!If you're lucky, you might get Lauren as a server! She's kind and sweet and super funny!
Hostess named Moira is an awesome greeter!!! and food is always good :-) actually good is not enough of a description, must say say it is absolutely excellent!!!!! brought me back to the days when I was a young child/teenager, brought up with Indonesian food, truly remarkable to say the least:-) wonderful service, wonderful people, great environment, excellent food!!! :-) plan to continue to go as often as possible, it brought me back to the days of being brought up with special times and always special Indonesian food whether it be winter or summer... my parents always cooked Satay outside even in Winter or inside :-) enjoy!!! what a beautiful fantastic place!!!!!
I'm a die-hard meat eater. Put aside that it's a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. This is one of the best restaurants EVER that I've eaten at, let alone amazing vegetarian food. Yes, I could tell it wasn't real meat. But wow it was close with some of the dishes due to the incredible variations in spices, proteins, and texture. The flavours were rich and diverse and, just like a meat dish, I found myself putting the "meat" chunks aside to save for the very end instead of powering through the "meat" first so I could drown it after with the veggies and sauce like other vegan dishes I've tried. Service was stellar despite the busy Tuesday night. The owner even came over and had an awesome conversation with us to get to know our family. Will be back. Even the leftovers today were incredible
