The food and drink menu was tremendous. My only complaint was that we were constantly waiting for our server to come by. His service was excellent...when he did actually come by. This would have been 5 stars if it weren't for all the waiting. We also would have gotten dessert...
Tonight my boyfriend and I celebrated our two year anniversary here. The food was truly out of this world. We both loved our appetizer, our entrees & desserts. The atmosphere here is very cozy. It had a very Scandinavian feel and the decor was defiantly unique and eye catching. Our server sacha was very kind, informative and friendly. From start to finish being at this establishment was an amazing experience and we have found our new favourite spot. We will 100% be coming back and recommending friends & family.
My boyfriend and I celebrated his birthday last week at Rge Rd. We made a reservation through Open Table, arrived a tad early and were seated on time. Overall, the food was fantastic. We ordered a ceasar and a spritzer; the Saskatoon berries were a nice touch! We had the kitchen board and scallops as our appetizers and the pig's roast and pannekoek as our mains. Great care was taken in choosing the ingredients for each dish, as the flavours complimented each other perfectly. Unfortunately, we were too full for dessert! Our waiter was attentive and polite. The only "complaint" I had was the tables were positioned quite close to each other. We felt like we were sitting with the people on either side of us and when the waitress for the other table walked by, she elbowed the back of my chair several times. I guess that's the way many restaurants are nowadays though - pretty small and cozy!
Excellent RestaurantThe food was very good and I like supporting the eat local trend. The service was excellent which in my opinion is just as important as the quality of the food served. We will defiantly be coming back to this restaurant.I have recently tried out one of the farm dinners they hold at Prairie Gardens and it was absolutely excellent using local ingredients from the farm itself. It may seem a bit risky buying tickets to a meal months in advance without seeing the menu but it was worth it and I would defiantly like to attend one next year.
Been in Alberta since 2013 and I have never had food that tasted this amazing. The whole experience was a dream! Service and atmosphere 10/10. I cant wait to go back
